As we move into the month of December and reflect on the birth of Jesus, I sit here at my kitchen table only to reflect on his death. Why be so different Angie Steele around the holiday's you say? Well my friends Jesus had a purpose and plan for coming into this world. His birth was a mapped out plan in heaven to restore dominion and authority on Earth back to man from the adversary Lucifer AKA Satan. In Eden, that old devil deceived Eve and her husband followed in such deception. They lost all power of the Earth by eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil God forbade. In order to restore us, our Messiah-the Word of God loved us so to come in the form of a man to destroy Satan and his kingdom of darkness once and for all. I don't know about you, but I'm excited about the end!
Did you know that God the Father, Holy Spirit, and Jesus always spoke futuristic. God always told what would be the end, before he did anything. As God looked down from heaven to see what Adam and his wife Eve had done, his plan to restore us was already established. It was to redeem us back to himself. His plan was to gain entry into this Earth by coming in the form of a man, because DOMINION was given to them. Even though Jesus was God himself, he had to come through man for access into the Earth. Thus we have the birth of Jesus. What a smart and wonderful God we serve. I'm sure as Satan that old deceiver gloated over the deception he had done, he failed to realize that he couldn't out smart God. For we serve a Holy God, All Knowing God, and one that's loving. Friends do you know that on this Earth it's absolutely illegal for anything to be in our atmosphere without an Earth suit. Yes an Earth suit, a body, in human form!
In heaven, as the Holy Trinity mapped out how Jesus would restore the Earth back to man, He Volunteered that he would die for the sins of All. So it began! The manifested Word of God was given to a virgin name Mary and she delivered the Messiah in a manger. Jesus found his way through the power of the Holy Spirit at a young age preaching the gospel. As he grew older he gained followers and they marveled at such a man that existed, not so much in his Godly power, but the authority he came in. He fed the hungry, clothed the naked, healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, as he prepared for the time to become the ransom for All our sins.
In this season of love and giving let's think about how God gave us an even more precious gift.
This gift endured the pains of the cross! They whipped him, pierced his side, broke his legs, and nailed his hands and feet. They crowned him with a crown of thorns upon his head. Upon the point of giving up his spirit into heaven, Jesus cried, "My God, My God why have you forsaken me?" I want those who patiently await the return of Jesus that just like he left he will come for we Have Not been Forsaken. Mathew 27:51-54 speaks about how when Jesus died the veil for the temple was broken, a great earthquake came upon the land, those that had passed away that believe in God rose up. Let's remember that WHEN HE SHALL CRACK THE SKY just as he left he will come. All power, dominion, authority, will be in his hands, he will come at his entrance with a loud shout from heaven, those who are in the grave that died in HIM will rise up and meet him in the air and those who remain will be caught up in the twinkling of an eye. We shall see his nailed scarred hands yet in his Glory as God.
This is my only reason of celebrating during this time of year. It gives me hope and it keeps me mindful of the plan of God to come back again. For his beginning is no greater than his end yet his end is the beginning. He Shall Crack The Sky my friends, he shall crack the sky, and I'm ready for it, are you?
Merry Christmas and I pray you're enjoying the gift of the season our Lord and Savior Jesus.
